Becoming a member
You may become a member of Ballyconnell Credit Union if you live or work in the surrounding areas which include Ballyconnell, Greaghrahan, Kildallan, Ballymagauran, Kilnavart, Bawnboy, Corlough, Swanlinbar, Glangevlin and Gowlan.
Membership of the Credit Union may be held solely, jointly or by a group or society. Persons under eighteen years of age may hold a minor membership.
In all cases, the applicant should call to the Credit Union office to complete an application form and bring with them the following documentation:
Photo ID: e.g. Driving licence, Current passport, Official Identification Card or Passport photograph with Birth Certificate.
Proof of Address Recent household bill, Bank or Building Society statement (Original and dated within the last three months), Official documentation from Revenue Commissioners or Government Departments which contains the person’s name and address. (Dated within the last six months), Benefit Books.
PPS Number: Official documentation i.e. P60 showing PPS Number.
Minor Parents Photo ID, Birth Certificate and verification of parents’ address.
A once-off membership fee of €1.27 applies for all adult members and a minimum balance of €6.35 must be kept in the account at all times.
