Payments delay Bank holiday Weekend
From Friday afternoon 15th March - Monday 18th March 2024, the European SEPA Payment Schemes will undergo a mandatory change. All Irish banks and credit unions may experience delays in payment processing over this weekend. As a result, SEPA payments (Euro payments across Ireland & the EU) made on Friday 15th may not be credited to the beneficiary account until Monday March 18th and may not appear in customer accounts over the weekend as is the case normally. Ballyconnell Credit Union is advising all customers to make payments and transfers on Thursday 14th March or early Friday morning 15th March to ensure that the beneficiary account is credited on Friday.
